EST. 2001
We operate where minimalistic architecture, sculptural forms, and quiet materiality come together to create purposeful, human-centered spaces.
Stone+Ward was founded with a singular conviction: that architecture should endure far beyond the trends of its time. By stripping away extraneous ornament and focusing on the interplay of raw limestone, poured concrete, and shifting natural light, we design buildings that provide refuge and focus in an increasingly complex world.

Santoshi ward, co-founder.
01
MATERIAL HONESTY
We work with materials in their authentic, unembellished state — Portland stone, tactile timber, and patinated bronze that gain character through weathering and human touch.
02
SCULPTURAL LIGHT
Daylight is our primary medium. We orient every space around natural illumination, using deep reveals, clerestory apertures, and shadow to create shifting temporal depth.
03
HUMAN SCALE
Monumentality is meaningless without intimacy. Every threshold, joinery detail, and spatial sequence is calibrated to foster a profound sense of psychological ease and belonging.
04
CIRCULAR DESIGN
As a certified B-Corp, we prioritize low-carbon construction, adaptive reuse of existing heritage structures, and building envelopes engineered to endure for centuries.
